Privacy Policy

Effective Date / Last Updated: July 14, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how SIS Cyber, LLC (“SIS Cyber,” “we,” “our,” or “us”) collects, uses, stores, and shares personal information when you visit our website at siscyber.com (the “Website”), submit information through our forms (including LinkedIn Lead Generation Forms), or otherwise interact with our marketing activities.

This Policy should be read together with our Cookie Policy and our Website Terms & Conditions. Nothing in this Policy limits any rights you have under applicable law.

If you do not agree with this Policy, please do not use the Website or provide us with your information.

1. Who We Are

2. Information We Collect

“Personal information” means information that identifies, or could reasonably be used to identify, an individual.

a. Information You Provide Directly
  • Contact details — your name, email address, phone number, company name, and job title when you submit a contact form, request a consultation, or complete a LinkedIn Lead Generation Form.
  • Communications — the contents of messages, inquiries, or feedback you send us by email, through the Website, or on social media.
  • Marketing preferences — your choices about receiving communications from us.
b. Information Collected Automatically

When you visit the Website, we and our service providers automatically collect certain information through cookies and similar technologies:

  • Device and connection information — IP address, browser type, operating system, device identifiers, and referring/exit pages.
  • Usage information — pages viewed, links clicked, time spent on pages, and general interaction with the Website.

We use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use the Website, and the LinkedIn Insight Tag to measure the performance of our LinkedIn advertising and to reach relevant professional audiences. See our Cookie Policy for details and how to opt out.

c. Information from Third Parties
  • LinkedIn — when you submit a LinkedIn Lead Generation Form, LinkedIn provides us the information in that form (such as your name, email, company, and title), subject to LinkedIn’s own privacy policy.

We do not collect sensitive personal information (such as government ID numbers, health information, or precise geolocation) through the Website, and we ask that you not submit it.

3. How We Use Your Information and Our Legal Bases

Where the EU/UK General Data Protection Regulation (“GDPR”) applies, we rely on the following legal bases:

We may aggregate or de-identify information so it can no longer reasonably identify you, and use or share that information without restriction.

4. How We Share Your Information

We do not sell your personal information for money. We share personal information only as follows:

  • Our affiliate, SIS Inc. — SIS Cyber, LLC is affiliated with SIS Inc., which provides operational and administrative support to our business. We may share personal information with SIS Inc. for purposes consistent with this Privacy Policy, such as business administration, providing and improving our services, and marketing our services to you. Information shared with SIS Inc. remains subject to the protections described in this Privacy Policy.
  • Service providers — vendors that perform services on our behalf, such as our customer relationship management (CRM) platform, email marketing platform, website hosting provider, and analytics providers. These providers may only use your information to perform services for us and are bound by confidentiality and data protection obligations.
  • Advertising partners — the LinkedIn Insight Tag allows LinkedIn to collect certain data from our Website (such as IP address and page activity) for advertising measurement and audience purposes. Under some U.S. state privacy laws, this may be considered “sharing” of personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. You can opt out as described in Sections 7 and 8 and in our Cookie Policy.
  • Legal compliance — if we believe disclosure is reasonably necessary to comply with a law, regulation, legal process, or governmental request, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of SIS Cyber, our clients, or others.
  • Business transfers — in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of all or part of our business, in which case we will notify you of any material change in how your information is handled.

We do not share your information with third parties for their own independent marketing purposes.

5. International Data Transfers

We are based in the United States and process information on servers located in the United States. If you access the Website from the EU, UK, or other regions with data protection laws that differ from U.S. law, your information will be transferred to the United States. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards for such transfers, such as the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses and/or participation of our service providers in the EU–U.S. Data Privacy Framework.

6. Data Retention

We retain personal information only as long as needed for the purposes described in this Policy:

  • Inquiry and lead information — for as long as reasonably necessary to respond to and follow up on your inquiry, and thereafter for 24 months from your last interaction with us, unless you ask us to delete it sooner.
  • Marketing data — until you opt out or your information becomes inactive for 24 months.
  • Analytics data — retained per the settings of our analytics providers Google Analytics: 14 months, Hubspot: up to 6 months.

We may retain information longer where required by legal, regulatory, tax, or accounting obligations, or to establish or defend legal claims.

7. Your Privacy Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:

  • Access — request a copy of the personal information we hold about you.
  • Correction — request that we correct inaccurate information.
  • Deletion — request that we delete your personal information, subject to legal exceptions.
  • Portability — receive certain information in a portable format.
  • Restriction / objection — restrict or object to certain processing, including processing based on legitimate interests.
  • Withdraw consent — where processing is based on consent, withdraw it at any time (this does not affect processing that already occurred).
  • Opt out of marketing — use the unsubscribe link in any marketing email or contact us at info@siscyber.com.

To exercise any of these rights, email us at info@siscyber.com with the subject line “Privacy Request.” We may need to verify your identity before fulfilling your request. We will respond within the timeframe required by applicable law. We will not discriminate against you for exercising your rights.

EU/UK residents: if you have unresolved concerns, you have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection supervisory authority.

8. Additional Disclosures for California Residents

Under the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act (“CCPA”), California residents have the rights to know, correct, delete, opt out of “sale” or “sharing,” limit use of sensitive personal information, and be free from discrimination.

In the preceding 12 months, we have collected the categories of personal information described in Section 2 (identifiers, professional information, and internet activity), from the sources described there, for the business purposes described in Section 3.

  • We do not sell personal information for money.
  • Our use of the LinkedIn Insight Tag and Google Analytics advertising features may constitute “sharing” for cross-context behavioral advertising under the CCPA.

You may opt out by:

  • Using the cookie preferences tool on our Website cookie preferences, or
  • Enabling the Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal in your browser, which we honor as an opt-out of sharing, or
  • Emailing info@siscyber.com with the subject line “Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information.”
  • We do not knowingly collect or use sensitive personal information for purposes requiring a right to limit.
  • We do not knowingly sell or share the personal information of consumers under 16 years of age.

To exercise your CCPA rights, email info@siscyber.com. You may designate an authorized agent to make a request on your behalf; we may require proof of authorization and verification of your identity.

9. Cookies and “Do Not Track”

Details about the cookies and tracking technologies we use, and how to control them, are in our Cookie Policy. Our Website honors the Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal as described above. Because there is no industry consensus on interpreting other “Do Not Track” browser signals, we do not respond to them at this time.

10. Security

We use commercially reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect personal information. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

11. Children’s Privacy

The Website is intended for business audiences and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, contact us at info@siscyber.com and we will delete it.

12. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Policy from time to time. The current version will always be posted on the Website with the “Last Updated” date above. For material changes, we will provide notice on the Website homepage and/or by email before the changes take effect.
